Notice of Water Interruption: May 2024

Who will be affected: Residents of Agar Avenue and 24,28,45,46 Davey Boulevard
When: Wednesday May 8, 2024 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Why: The type of work that will take place involves the isolation and separation of the existing watermain that will require the municipal water to be temporarily shut down in order for the town’s contractor to safely perform the work.

How you may be affected:

• During the above noted time period the water to your property will be turned off while the Town’s contractor completes the scheduled connection.
• Prior to the interruption of water service, please draw sufficient water into containers for use during this period or make other necessary arrangements.
• You may experience some discoloration in the water once the water is turned back on at the end of the day. If this occurs, open a tap at the laundry sink and allow the water to run for a period of time until the discoloration is gone. It is suggested that you avoid turning on the hot water tap during a water service interruption to prevent damage to water heaters.
