How much are tax certificates?

Regular tax certificate with a turn around within 10 business days: $80.00

 

Rush Tax Certificates with a turn around 1-3 business days: $110.00

Is there an additional cost for water and wasterwater utility information?

No, water & wastewater information is included in the cost of the tax certificate. There is no additional fee to obtain this information.

Request a tax certificate by mail

Requests for tax certificates can be made by cheque payable to the Town of BWG. Request letters and cheques can be sent to the Town by either Canada Post or Courier.

How long is a tax certificate valid?

Verbal updates will only be provided up to six months from the date the certificate is purchased.​

Can I request a verbal confirmation prior to receiving the tax certificate from the Town?

Yes, if the Town has received payment by credit card or cheque we will provide a verbal if requested. If a verbal update is required please clearly indicate this on the request.
