The following items are required to be submitted to the Building Division for a ground sign permit:
- Building permit application form for each sign
- Sign license application form for each sign
- Agent authorization form, if Applicant is not the Home Owner
- Commitment to General Review form, if applicable
- A copy of site plan drawing showing the location of the proposed sign with all the applicable setbacks to the property lines and location of all existing signs
- A copy of architectural and structural drawings (including elevations)
- Approval from Conservation Authorities (NVCA or LSRCA), Ministry of Transportation (MoT), and/or Simcoe County, if applicable

Please Note: if the proposed ground sign exceeds 7.5 metres in height above the adjacent finished ground, the design shall be completed by an Engineer and the Commitment to General Review form will need to be completed by the Engineer & Owner and submitted with your permit application.
A refundable security deposit in the amount of 10% of the construction value (minimum of $500.00 to maximum of $10,000.00) will be required at time of building permit issuance and may be released once all required inspections have been completed.
