Winter Parking

Winter parking restrictions are in effect (annually) from December 1 to April 1.

During this time it is strictly prohibited to park on any street between the hours of 2:00 and 6:00 am, and in the Downtown Bradford area* between 3:00 and 6:00 am, where posted. This restriction is lifted on January 1 of each year to encourage safe New Year's Eve celebrations.

(* for this purpose, the Downtown Bradford area is defined as: Holland Street West to Holland Court, Holland Street East to Nelson Street, Simcoe Road South to Centre Street, Barrie Street North to John Street)

Any motor vehicle found on the roadway during the restricted hours may be subject to a fine under Traffic Regulation By-law 2014-91, as amended.

Overflow Parking

Winter overnight parking is available at the BWG Leisure Centre in designated spots where indicated by signs. Parking is also permitted in municipal (green P) parking lots for up to 24 hours.

For more information regarding the parking by-law and restrictions, please contact the Enforcement Division.
