BWG Transit offers two shared-ride programs to better serve our riders.
Shuttle-to-GO
Shuttle-to-GO is a shared-ride shuttle service providing transit between BWG Transit bus stops and the Bradford GO station during the early morning and evening train periods. The service is provided by Town Taxi through a fare-sharing arrangement with Metrolinx and the Town of BWG.
- Call Town Taxi (905-775-5656) by no later than 8 p.m. the day before to book your ride between any BWG Transit stop and the GO Station.
- Provide PRESTO card number, your bus or train time (service available for weekday departures between 4:45 and 7:45 a.m. and arrivals between 5:00 and 7:30 p.m.). Come here often? Pre-book up to a week's rides at a time!
- A taxi bearing the BWG Transit logo will pick you up at the stop or station at the pre-determined time.
- Pay your driver the low fare of $3 per person per ride (cash only), or provide a valid PRESTO card and ride for free.
Cancellations must be made by minimum two hours prior to the agreed upon pick-up time. Passengers who are repeat "no shows" or fail to provide adequate notice on more than one occasion may be suspended from or barred from using this service.
Please Note: This service is designed to allow commuters to share a taxi to the GO station, thus enabling the lower fare. The Shuttle-to-GO vehicle cannot accommodate large articles such as strollers, luggage, etc. If you require transportation to the GO station with large articles, you must advise the taxi dispatcher and regular taxi fares will apply.
Shuttle-to-Reagens
Shuttle-to-Reagens is a shared-ride shuttle service providing transit between BWG Transit stops and businesses in Reagens Industrial Park during the late-night shift change period of 10:30 pm to 12:30 am. The service is provided by Town Taxi on behalf of the Town of BWG.
- Call Town Taxi (905-775-5656) by no later than 8 p.m. the day before to book your ride between any BWG Transit stop and a business in Reagens Industrial Park.
- Provide the address of your workplace, the number of your bus stop, and the time that you begin/end work. You can pre-book up to a week's rides at a time.
- You will be provided with a time to meet the taxi - failure to be at the agreed-upon location on time may result in you missing your ride.
- Pay your driver the low fare of $3 per person per ride (cash only), or show your easyPASS and pay $1 cash.
