Annual Reports
Annual Water Quality Reports are prepared each year and are available to the public for review. Additionally, annual drinking water inspections are conducted by the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MOECP) to ensure the municipal drinking water system conforms to all necessary regulatory requirements set out by the Province.
The Town's water supply comes from two municipal groundwater wells, along with treated surface water from the Town of Innisfil.
BWG’s drinking water is continually monitored and tested for compliance with the Ontario Drinking Water Quality Standards.
Preventative maintenance of our water distribution system (including watermains, hydrants and valves) ensures the system is in good shape.
Owners of municipal drinking water systems must have a license to operate their systems and incorporate quality management into their operations.
As set out in our Drinking Water Quality Management Standard (DWQMS), BWG is committed to providing residents with safe drinking water.
Water conservation and efficiency contribute to a healthy watershed and help to provide future generations with clean sources of drinking water.
