Co-operative Purchasing

The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury is a member of the Georgian Bay Area Public Purchasing Co-operative (GBAPPC). The GBAPPC membership comprises a broad spectrum of public agencies operating within the Georgian Bay area including municipalities, school boards, hospitals, colleges, and various other public entities that share resource efforts to procure similar goods and services through collaborative processes to recognize additional savings. 

In addition to being an active member of the GBAPPC, the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury may participate from time to time in procurements conducted as part of the following buying groups: 

Disposal of Surplus Assets

The Town disposes of its tangible assets that have met the end of their useful life or when an asset is no longer required.  Asset disposal is conducted in accordance with the Disposal of Surplus Assets Procedure.

Surplus assets are disposed via online auction that is open to the public for bidding. The Town uses the government auction site GovDeals.

If the search does not yield any results for the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury, there are no surplus assets available for auction.

All items are sold “as is, where is” without warranty.  Bidders are solely responsible to satisfy themselves as to the condition and specifications of the goods being offered for sale prior to bidding on an item. By placing a bid on a surplus item, you are making a contract between yourself and the seller.

Suspended Suppliers

Suppliers may be suspended for failing to fulfill their contractual duties, poor performance and other matters that negatively affect the business relationship with the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury. Suspensions issued pursuant to the Town’s Supplier Suspension Procedure.
