Project Description
This project is for the reconstruction of Sideroad 10 from County Road 88 to Line 5, Line 5 from Sideroad 10 to Coffey Road, as well as the realignment of Line 6.
Background
A Class Environmental Assessment was completed in 2010. This project is required to accommodate the planned and approved growth within Bradford West Gwillimbury, and is part of the Town's OPA 15, 16 and 17.
Project Status
The project is ongoing and nearing completion.

Phase 1 is mostly complete with the exception of some final grading and boulevard works.
Phase 2 is underway with works ongoing along Line 5 between SR10 and Coffey Rd. Drivers should expect delays with alternating one lane traffic.
Phase 3 is mostly complete with the exception of some final grading and boulevard restoration works.
Over the course of the next few months, the contractor will be working on:
- Various electrical installations,
- Moving fill material,
- Placing gravel,
- Roadway paving,
- Line painting,
- Boulevard grading, and
- Other miscellaneous works as required by the contract.
Drivers should expect delays as the contractor will need to close lanes in order to complete the works noted above. Any full road closures will be posted well in advance on this webpage as well as on the variable message signs located around the project.
