NOTICE OF ROADWORKS ROAD REHABILITATION
WHERE:
- Magani Avenue – From Collings Avenue to Miller Park Avenue
- Gres Court
- Hulst Drive
WHEN:
Work is scheduled to begin during the first week of May, and is expected to take four to six weeks to complete, weather permitting.
WHAT:
Work will include full depth removal of the existing road surface on Magani Avenue and Hulst Drive, the partial depth removal of the existing road surface on Gres Court, the removal and replacement of damaged sections of curb and sidewalk, the installation of a new hot-mix asphalt road surface on all three streets and final site restoration and clean up.
HOW YOU MAY BE AFFECTED:
Access to residential driveways may be temporarily obstructed during the curb and sidewalk repairs, as well as during the asphalt paving process. Affected homeowners will be notified in advance so that alternate arrangements can be made. Following the paving process, homeowners are requested not to park on the newly paved road for 24-hours to allow the asphalt enough time to consolidate and cool.
Homeowners may also experience disruptions in Rogers or Bell service as buried service cables may be damaged or broken during the repair process. Should a service disruption be experienced, homeowners should directly call their service provider to arrange for a repair. Please have your account number and details available when calling for a repair.
We apologize for any inconvenience you may experience during this time.
