Road Closure Notice

WHEN: Tuesday, August 15 to Friday, October 13, 2023

This notice is to advise essential services of an upcoming road closure required for development related servicing and road reconstruction of Danube Lane, which will impact one of the entrances to the Danube Seniors Leisure Centre.

From August 15 to October 13 a section Danube Lane from Simcoe Road will be closed. Access to the Danube Seniors Leisure Centre will still be available from Simcoe Road adjacent to Golfview Blvd.

UPDATE:

The Danube Lane Entrance will be closed on the northbound lane at the Simcoe Road/Danube Lane entrance to begin the watermain works on Monday, August 21 & Tuesday, August 22.

The lane will be opened up at the end of each work day.

The lane closure will extend from the Danube Seniors Leisure Centre entrance off Simcoe Road at the north end to the cross walk 30 meters to the south of the Simcoe Road/Danube Lane intersection and will also include a sidewalk closure.

A notice to area residents will be distributed in advance.
