County Road 4 (Yonge Street) will be closed on May 29, 2024, for utility relocations to make way for future roadway reconstruction.
In order to complete a component of this relocation, County Road 4 will experience a traffic disruption. A detour route will be setup to direct traffic for the duration of the work.
When: May 29, 2024, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Where: Between Hwy 89 and 9th Line
- Local traffic permitted between Hwy 89 and 12th Line, and between 9th Line and 10th Line only.
- A rolling full road closure will occur between south of 12th Line and north of 10th Line from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Special Notes
- Property owners and businesses within the impacted area will have access to their properties during this period.
- School buses and parents looking to drop off and pick up students from Honorable Earl Rowe Public School will be able to do so during the construction window.
Access to the school is permitted northbound on County Road 4 and 12th Line.
- Bradford Greenhouses Garden Gallery will be accessible from the 12th Line as well as northbound on County Road 4.
