Notice of Complete Application and Public Meeting on Zoning By-law Amendment and Plan of Subdivision
Pursuant to Section 34(10.4) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended
TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury has received the following complete application:

AND TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury will be holding a public meeting on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 7:00 pm in the Zima Room of the BWG Library & Cultural Centre, 425 Holland Street West, Bradford to consider the proposed amendment and plan. The Council meeting also be streamed live on the Town’s YouTube channel at
www.youtube.com/c/TownofBradfordWestGwillimbury. (Please note that there may be more than one public meeting and that the matter will be dealt with in the order that it appears on the agenda.)
The proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is to rezone the subject properties from the Neighbourhood Commercial “C2(H1)” to Residential Two “R2-1”, Residential Two Exception “R2-1*XX”, Core Commercial Exception “C1*XX”, Core Commercial Exception “C1*YY(H?)”, Open Space “OS”, and Open Space Exception “OS*XX”. A key map showing the location of the lands is attached.
The purpose of the rezoning is to set zone standards in order to permit the development of a 165-unit subdivision that includes semi-detached (72) and townhouse dwellings (93), 2 mixed-use buildings (8- and 5-storeys), storm management pond, and park.
The proposed Plan of Subdivision is to divide the property into new parcels and facilitate the proposed development identified in the paragraph above.

The purpose of the meeting is to inform the public of the nature of the proposal, invite public input, and answer questions regarding the application.
Any person may attend the public meeting to make a submission in support of or in opposition to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment. If you wish to be notified of Council’s decision regarding the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment, you must submit a written request to Priscilla Lan at the address shown in the paragraph above.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at the Public Meeting or make written submission to the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury before the approval or refusal of the Zoning By-law Amendment and Plan of Subdivision, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Council of Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal, and the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
