In celebration of National Public Works Week, the community of BWG is invited to explore and learn about the various trucks, plows, and emergency vehicles that the Town operates during our annual Touch a Truck event!
Presented by Deals with Debbie and Mister Treats, Touch a Truck will take place on Wednesday, May 22, from 4:30 to 7:30 pm, at BWG’s Urban Operation Centre (75 Melbourne Drive).
The event is a free to attend, family-friendly event that invites community members to explore and take photos with over 15 of our town fleet including a Zamboni, a backhoe, tractors, and more.
"In celebration of National Public Works Week, the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury’s Touch a Truck event is an opportunity to highlight and recognize the essential services that our public works team provides. Stop by and get to know our staff, ask questions, and learn more about the vehicles they operate!” – Mayor James Leduc
In addition to exploring Town fleet, attendees can participate in a variety of activities like painting a plow, colouring, and crafts. Be sure to visit our Town booth for giveaways and water safety information and enjoy a complimentary ice cream cone or slushie sponsored by Mister Treats!
Please note that on-site parking will not be available. Event parking is available at Bradford District High School (70 Professor Day Drive) and at Holy Trinity Catholic High School (100 Melbourne Drive).
