Fortis Crescent Road Closure

Please be advised that to accommodate for the construction of new municipal sewers and lot services, the northwest corner of Fortis Crescent will be temporarily closed off to all vehicular and sidewalk through traffic. The closure will begin starting the week of Monday July 8th, 2024 and is expected to last until Friday August 2nd, 2024.

During this time, Fortis Crescent will be restricted to local traffic only.

Please be aware of the following:

Dates of Closure: The closure will commence starting the week of Monday July 8th, 2024 and is anticipated to conclude by Friday August 2nd, 2024.

Restrictions: Road barricades will be installed to block off the northwest corner of Fortis Crescent, restricting vehicular through traffic between 123 Fortis Crescent and 114 Fortis Crescent. The sidewalk access connecting to 6th line will also be closed during this time.

Note: that access to all existing occupied lots on Fortis Crescent (including 123 Fortis Crescent and 114 Fortis Crescent) will remain unaffected and uninterrupted.

Waste Collection: Waste collection (every Thursday) will remain un-interrupted during the course of the construction period.

Canada Post Mail: The existing community Mailbox located due North of 123 Fortis Crescent will be temporarily relocated and placed onto the east side boulevard on Inverness Way, South of 6th line . This mailbox will be relocated afterwards to a new permanent location located across from 110 Fortis Crescent approximately 3-4 weeks after construction has begun.
