BWG’s Community Clean-up Week is back for 2025!

It's that time of year again!

Help tackle waste and support a clean and healthy community by participating in BWG’s Community Clean-up Week

The Town of BWG is happy to share that Community Clean-up Week is back this Spring! This is a great opportunity for residents to come together, help tackle waste, and support a clean and healthy community.

Community Clean-up Week will take place from Monday, April 21 – Sunday April 27, 2025. Throughout the week, and at their convenience, we welcome residents to participate – pick up a 'Clean-up Kit' and start collecting waste around their neighborhoods.

The Clean-up Kits include garbage bags, gloves, hand sanitizer, instructions, and safety tips. Clean-up Kits will be available on a first-come-first-served basis, with no registration required. Participants can collect their kits at the BWG Leisure Centre (471 West Park Ave.), starting Wednesday, April 16, 2025 while supplies last. Pick-up is available during our regular hours of operation (Monday-Friday between 6:00 am - 10:00 pm and Saturday-Sunday from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm).

Residents are encouraged to tackle public parks, greenspaces, or trails in BWG; and can participate at any time throughout the week (April 21-April 27, 2025). Please keep safety top of mind when selecting a day, time, and location, and as you collect waste.

We would also like to thank Apollo Health and Beauty Care for graciously donating the hand sanitizers for the kits and Perfect SZN Bradford and Sweet B’s Bakery for providing coupons for the kits.
