MADD: Campaign 911 Month

WHEREAS: The safety and well-being of our residents are of paramount importance to the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury; and
WHEREAS: Impaired driving continues to pose a significant threat to public safety, resulting in tragic accidents and devastating loss of life; and
WHEREAS: Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Simcoe County has launched Campaign 911, advocating for the prompt reporting of suspected impaired driving incidents by dialing 911; and
WHEREAS: Campaign 911 aims to raise awareness about the importance of community vigilance and proactive measures in preventing impaired driving and its associated risks; and
WHEREAS: The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury recognizes the critical role of community engagement in promoting safe driving practices and reducing the incidence of impaired driving within our municipality; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That His Worship Mayor James Leduc and Members of Council proclaim May 2024, as MADD: Campaign 911 Month in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury.
