BWG Animal Services is now partnering with the Alliston District Humane Society to provide Municipal Shelter Services for the Town.
ADHS is volunteer based, with 2 veterinary technicians on site, ample staff to look after the animals, and a beautiful property with 49 acres of walking trails.

Important facts to consider for pet owners and those looking to adopt:
- If your dog is picked up by an officer, all efforts will be made to locate the owner through information on the dog tag.
- If the owner cannot be located or contacted, or if the dog does not have a tag, the dog will be transported the Alliston District Humane Society.
- If an animal is unclaimed for a period of five (5) days, the pet may be available for adoption.
- All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations before adoption.
