Bradford West Gwillimbury Celebrates Hockey Day

A celebration of community hockey returns to Bradford West Gwillimbury on Saturday, February 3, at our 15^th Annual Hockey Day in BWG.

Join us at Bud Brown Park in Bond Head, from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, as the BWG Minor Hockey Association’s U7 teams compete in a day of outdoor ice fun. All participants will receive a medal.

Hockey Day in Canada was born in Toronto in 2000 and is hosted in a different towns across Canada each year. The Town of BWG launched its local event in 2009 as a way to celebrate the renowned winter sport and bring the game back to basics with a fun and friendly tournament.
