Residents of Bradford West Gwillimbury are encouraged to get involved in helping the community by applying to serve as a volunteer on one of the Town's boards or committees. Applicants must be 18 or older, Canadian citizens and residents of BWG.
Some boards/committees are required by law to exist in all municipalities, while others are formed by Town Council to help achieve specific goals Committee members serve the same four-year term as Council; therefore, most committees advertise for new members only at the beginning of a term of Council. Occasionally there will be openings mid-term if a member leaves a committee.

- Municipal Heritage Committee (applications closed Jan 6, 2025)
- Police Services Board (applications closed Jan 6, 2025)
Thank you for your interest. Applications for Advisory Committee/Board Memberships are now closed. Submissions will be reviewed by Council and candidates will be contacted.
All applicants should be aware that the information submitted may be discussed by Council at a public meeting during the recruitment process.
