Fires conducted in the open or in a barrel or drum between the hours of sunrise and sunset of the same day require an Open Air Burn Permit. The following must be considered prior to applying for a permit:
- Must be a minimum of 50 feet from all property lines, fences, structures, trees/hedges, overhead wires and combustible material
- Size of burn must be contained to a maximum of 3 feet (length, width, height)
- Means of extinguishment must be on site
Daily Permit Fee: $10.00
Weekly Permit Fee: $20.00 (7 consecutive days)
