Flash Freeze Warning and Snow Squall Watch Issued for BWG
With our mild temperatures forecasted to fall rapidly this afternoon, any falling precipitation will quickly freeze over as the temperature drops, causing sudden icy conditions on our roads and walkways.
Snow squalls are also expected to develop this afternoon, with snowfall accumulations of 20-40 cm and winds up to 80km/hr, causing heavy and blowing snow and reduced visibility.

The Town of BWG is making two significant investments through the 2024 Budget towards local environmental sustainability. Two innovative infrastructure projects are slated for this year to help protect the Holland River.
