Public Information Meeting for AMJ's Jalsa Salana Event Application

Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Canada Inc. (AMJ) has applied to the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury for a Special Event Permit in order to hold an event at 3999 Sideroad 10, 3078 Line 11 and 2912 Line 11 on July 4, 5 and 6, 2025.  The “Jalsa Salana” event is an annual gathering of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and is expected to attract 15,000 to 25,000 people each day of the event.

Celebrate the New Year with the Mayor and Council

Mayor Leduc and Members of Council invite you to join them for the eighth annual Mayor’s New Year’s Levee on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 12:00 to 2:15 pm at the BWG Leisure Centre.

The Mayor’s Levee features free leisure skating from 12:15 to 2:15 pm, free family sports in the gymnasium from 12:15 to 2:00 pm as well as musical entertainment from Russ Clayton. Council will be serving cake starting at 12:00 pm. 

All residents are invited to attend and all activities are free.
