BWG continues with Fall Flushing

Every Spring and Fall, the Town’s Water Division completes watermain flushing, which consists of running water at every hydrant to ensure a clean and fresh water supply for our municipal water customers.
The work began on Monday, September 9 and will continue through the end of October. Water will be run at every hydrant in BWG. Work takes place Mondays to Fridays between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.

The Town of BWG is happy to share that Community Clean-up Week is returning this Fall. This is a great opportunity for residents to come together to help tackle waste and support a clean and healthy community.
Community Clean-up Week will take place from Monday, October 7 to Sunday, October 13, 2024. Throughout the week, and at their convenience, we welcome residents to participate by picking up a clean-up kit and collecting waste around their neighborhoods.

Fire Chief Michael Rozario is calling on all residents of Bradford West Gwillimbury to test their smoke alarms on September 28 as part of Test Your Smoke Alarm Day. Be prepared to be Saved by the Beep with a working smoke alarm – it is your best chance to keep you and your family safe in the event of a fire.
Bradford West Gwillimbury is joining communities across Ontario on September 28 by asking everyone to take a minute and to ensure that there are working smoke alarms installed in their home.
