No train service between Rutherford GO and Union Station Saturday, April 13, and Sunday, April 14
Due to construction, there will be no Barrie line service between Rutherford GO and Union Station. Limited Barrie line service will run between Allandale Waterfront GO and Rutherford GO. Regularly scheduled Aurora-Union train trips will be replaced by buses running to Highway 407 subway station. Customers can connect to TTC subway services from Highway 407 and at Downsview Park.

Starting March 11 for BWG South
Every Spring and Fall, the Town’s Water Division completes watermain flushing, which consists of running water at every hydrant to ensure a clean and fresh water supply for our municipal water customers.

Notice of County Road 88 and 5th Sideroad Lane Closure

The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury Transportation and Water Departments will be doing water main daylighting on Thursday, February 15, 2024. A lane closure will be in effect for the East Bound lane going along County Road 88 west of 5th Sideroad the lane will be temporarily closed due to construction work.
The closures will remain in effect from 5 am to no later than 5 pm on Thursday, February 15th.
2023 Urban Roads Design Project Update

Accardi Schaeffers has been retained to complete the detailed design work for the 2023 Urban Roads project. In order to support the detailed design, we will be conducting investigative works on site and you may see surveyors, geotechnical engineers, underground utility investigators, and arborists.

Downtown Bradford Revitalization Project Update

It has been identified during the Detail Design process, that additional topographic survey information is required. Beginning the first week of January 2024 (weather pending), survey crews will be working along the following areas to collect additional data.
- Toronto Street and John Street,
- Collings Avenue, Maplegrove Avenue, and Magani Avenue,
- Holland Court,
- Simcoe Road and Thomas Street, and
- Colborne Street and John Street.
